Five new projects have joined the AgroEcoNum programme!

Discover the successful applicants from the second and final call for proposals under the Agroecology and Digital Technology research programme. With the addition of five new projects, the programme now comprises a total of 23 research and infrastructure projects. These projects will strengthen and complement the expertise already present within the programme.

  • Past2ECO, From Past Crops to Future Crops for Agroecology: Using Digital Solutions to Harness Adaptive Genetic Diversity.
  • AI4Diet, The role of AI in feed ration optimisation models to support the agroecological transition of livestock systems in different contexts.
  • AI-HERBAGE, Artificial intelligence for the holistic efficiency of grassland areas in terms of livestock farming and grassland management.
  • TreeD-RESIST, AI-based 3D phenotyping and modelling to predict the immunity and resilience of agroecological orchards.
